Round about there sat a little hare

Melody -

Round about there
Sat a little hare,
The bow-wows came and chased him
Right up there!

Infant amusement. The hare is represented by a finger which is passed round the palm of the child's hand; the 'bow-wows' then chase it up the arm to the neck, in the manner of 'Round and round the garden.'
